Our Vision
A world where everyone has a safe, decent, and affordable place to live.
Our Mission Statement
Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Since 1995, Habitat Monroe has built 108+ homes and continues to make homeownership a reality for local families.
Our Core Values
We seek to demonstrate the love of Jesus Christ by putting faith into action and serving others. Our mission is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves a safe and stable home, which is why we focus on providing affordable housing opportunities for families in need. We actively advocate for housing accessibility, working to break down barriers that prevent families from achieving homeownership. Through our efforts, we strive to promote dignity and hope, empowering individuals to build brighter futures. Our commitment extends beyond building houses—we focus on sustainable and transformational development, ensuring that the impact we make today strengthens communities for generations to come.
About Habitat for Humanity International
Founded in Americus, Georgia, USA, in 1976, Habitat for Humanity has expanded its reach across the globe, with a mission to provide safe, decent, and affordable housing. Over the years, the organization has helped build, renovate, and repair more than 1 million homes, improving the lives of over 3 million people in communities worldwide. Through the support of volunteers, donors, and partner families, Habitat continues to empower individuals and families to achieve strength, stability, and self-reliance through homeownership.
