As a part of Habitat Monroe’s ongoing celebration of Women’s History Month, we want to celebrate the history of the women in our own community. We’re going to shine the spotlight on women-owned businesses in Monroe, so that you can feel good about supporting Monroe women and shopping local! Habitat Monroe knows a thing or two about the awesome women in our community, many of them are a part of our Women’s Leadership Initiative! The WLI is a powerful group made up of influential community members, business owners, and leaders. Together, they use their time and talents to spread the mission of Habitat Monroe and show their support at various events and fundraisers throughout the year.
