The Power of the Pocketbook

Join us for this special event. Through a special fundraising initiative called "The Power of the Pocketbook." Supporters in and around the Monroe County area donate designer purses for auction. All money raised will benefit women homeowners in Monroe County.

In a sign of the times, the sixth largest home builder last year was a non-profit, Habitat for Humanity International, which closed 6,032 homes in the United States last year. Sales at Habitat were up a robust 14%.
