Clear Clutter & Make A Difference:
ReStore Your Space:
When you find yourself needing to get rid of the old to bring in the new – the ReStore is here to take your furniture, appliances, home supplies and more!
ReStore The Community:
The funds raised through the ReStore help build Habitat homes in our community, providing affordable homeownership to hard-working Monroe County families.
ReStore The World:
By reselling and recycling, Habitat ReStores are able to prevent usable or recyclable items from being put in landfills.
ReStore Policy: The Habitat Monroe ReStore provides our local communites with an environmentally and socially responsible way to keep good, reusable materials in circulation while providing funds for Habitat’s mission. The mission of Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County is to provide simple, decent, and affordable housing along with critical repairs and veteran ramps to those below 80% of the median income. Money (proceeds) raised by our ReStore sales (profits) are the single largest revenue stream used to fund the Habitat mission. Our ReStore is open to the general public. Merchandise such as furniture, home decor, and building supplies are donated by homeowners and businesses in the community. We receive new and used merchandise daily and sell it at a fraction of the retail price. A few products in the ReStore are purchased by Habitat and resold at a mark-up.
As the ReStore is Habitat’s largest revenue generator of mission funding, strict pricing guidelines are followed. Donated products are typically priced at 50% of the retail value (depending on condition). This is our starting point. If products do not sell, they are typically reduced by 25% every month up to a 75% reduction. All purchased products are exempt to the markdown policy. The ReStore is open to, and attracts shoppers, from all income levels. Just like any other store, we have many products at many different price levels (not everyone purchases a Lincoln or a Cadillac, some purchase a Ford or a Chevy). If a customer feels the price is higher than they want to pay, they can wait until it gets marked down as long as someone else does not purchase it. Because of these policies, and remaining fair to all customers, we have a strict no bargaining policy.
Thank you for your support!

Feel Good
Donating to the ReStore is a rewarding opportunity for you, to support your local community, and the environment!
We know you want to be good stewards of your stuff!
This is why the Habitat ReStore has been accepting donations from homeowners and business owners in our community for over 10 years. On average, donations from people like you allow us to transfer $100,000 every year to the building of Habitat homes.
Part of the stress of home projects is knowing what to do with the stuff we are replacing. The ReStore is the stress-free solution. They come and pick up the items and take them off our hands! It is for a great cause too, I always feel good donating to the ReStore.
