Free Furry Family Fun

There are probably many things that humans, cats and dogs have in common, including the need for love and attention. One thing is perhaps the most important similarity of them all: they need safe & reliable shelter.

That’s why on Saturday, July 13, Habitat for Humanity of Monroe County is partnering with the Humane Society of Monroe to bring an afternoon of free, furry, family fun to the Habitat ReStore.

From noon to 3 pm, visit the Habitat Monroe ReStore at 840 LaPlaisance Rd to meet some animals in need of a good home. If you, or someone you know, is also looking for a good home then come and talk to the Habitat staff about our homeownership program and local opportunities available.

But that’s not all! We’ll also have raffles for a homemade cat condo and dog house, made out of repurposed items from our ReStore. All attendees will receive a raffle ticket for these one-of-a-kind items. Attendees may also bring donations for the Humane Society and receive an extra entry for your chance to win!
