Habitat Monroe prides itself on the impact that it’s able to create in their own community of Monroe. That’s why it’s especially important to us to partner with other local businesses with the same community-driven goals in mind; the Key Realty 123 Sold team is one of those businesses.
Team leader Jennifer MacLeod also realized this when she sought out Habitat Monroe as a potential partner for her team to volunteer with.
“I choose Habitat because I feel we have similar goals; to help others and give back to the community,” she said, “helping people achieve the American Dream and get them into a home is one of the most rewarding experiencing there is and we are fortunate to be able to do it everyday.”
The Key Realty 123 Sold Team is located in Monroe and Ida, and serves all of Monroe County and South East Michigan. Jennifer’s team works with local sellers and buyers to help them find homes, and connect them with other professionals to make their real estate experience a smooth and exciting one.
“Our mission is to help others and educate people about real estate world,” Jennifer said.
A mission that everyone at Habitat Monroe can certainly identify with.
“It is important to get the Key Realty 123 Sold Team involved in the community to give back, to show team work, and learn from organizations such as Habitat to be able to educate others on the importance of helping others,” Jennifer said.
For their Team Habitat build day, the Key Realty team was also able to see what it was like on the other side of the housing process by helping to build one.
“The experience we had this week was amazing, my team was so excited to be apart of the building of the new home,” Jennifer said, “everyone left with more excitement than when they arrived. Jim did an excellent job running the site, explaining each task, and enforcing safety on the job site.”
The Key Realty 123 Sold team is already looking forward to their next Team Habitat day and we couldn’t be more happy to host them. Habitat Monroe would like to thank Jennifer and everyone on her team for their hard work and generous donation.
